- Able to install various flavors of Unix/Linux and build custom kernels for performance enhancement and to support non-standard hardware. Can configure various applications on Unix, including DNS, Routing, NAT, Proxy, Firewalls.

- Developed network management applications using Unix shell scripts and SNMP libraries to automate monitoring, logging and configuration changes for thousands of network devices.

- Experience on setting up Directory Services for single sign-on and centralized address-book solutions. Implemented LDAP accessible Directory based on Active Directory on Windows 2000 Server and successfully connected applications and equipment from multiple vendors to enable centralized access for thousands of users.

- Worked on various NMS systems including HP Openview, Nortel Preside/Optivity & Alcatel’s OmniVista, on various platforms including Solaris, AIX, Linux and Windows.
