MacBook

After my excellent experience with my 2 Apple desktop machines in past 12 months, I finally bought my first Apple MacBook, just before my trip.

The model I bought had 2.0 GHz Core 2 Duo CPU with 1GB RAM and dual layer DVD burner. For the my vacation trip, I temporarily swapped 2GB RAM from my iMac with my MacBook.

Things I fell in love with:

- Extremely fast and responsive OS
- Almost 5 hours battery life
- Extremely practical size
- MagSafe Power, magnetic connector
- Missing mechanical screen latch, magnetic again
- Lots of connectors, camera, DL DVD burner, Bluetooth, WirlessLAN

Things not happy with:

- The outer shell is extremely vulnerable to scratches
- Screen not as bright as my iMac
- Power adapter also got many scrathes within few days
